Dreamweaver
Lesser Beasts
"A beetle-like creature with unique abilities I discovered during my travels. They appear to be rare and few in number. Their abilities are likely related to the mind and imagination, hence the name 'Dreamweaver.' They are large, about the size of a hotdog. There may be a medicinal use for them. I'll have to do more research."
"While another researcher was asleep, the Dreamweaver climbed onto their head. Its cheeks began to glow! And when they awoke, they seemed to recall forgotten childhood memories! How does such a small insect do such a thing?"
You look at the illustrations on the page. The bug appears to be larger than average, and is purple with brown limbs. Its cheeks and abdomen are a distinctive yellow color. The underside of its wings is reminiscent of a night sky, glowing like stars.
The Dreamweaver appears to have mind-reading and recollection abilities. When it sits atop someone's forehead, it can recall and read someone's memories and emotions. This unique ability may have use in therapeutic settings. Winner of 2021 May Discovery, created by slimybagelbites!
