Buns looked over the stove, sitting comfortably in his stool. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to reach it and cook!

She leaned forward in her stool, pawing at a few cook books before he finally decided which one to pick, dragging it out.

He flipped through the pages, looking at images of foods, recipes and instructions.

Hm.

This should do! Baking a cake should be easy, right? Buns gazed around, before realizing he didn’t already have the ingredients out. He was disappointed, but he shouldn’t complain.

She hopped off, opening cabinets and fridge. She grabbed milk, eggs, flour, chocolate, spoons, and a giant bowl. She had to balance them all, looking up at the stool.

It was a pain to get up there, but eventually he did it, with a few things left down below; which meant a second trip.

After all that, NOW should be his chance to cook! He poured in flour, cracked the eggs and let their yolk fall in, dumped milk, threw in chunks of chocolate, and began mixing with a spoon... A small one at that.

He spun, and spun, and spun it. Sometimes he made the bowl and spoon spin, make it work like a mixer! Bits of chocolate dough splash on her face, wiping it off. It looked like it was going well so far.

She jumped down with the bowl, pushing the stool away and opening the oven.

Should she put it in a tray? Nah.

Buns put the bowl in, set the timer to... about three minutes, and set it sit. She never realized that she didn’t follow along with the book, didn’t follow the recipe at all. But she used his memory... should be enough.

Ding! The cake was ready! Buns opened the door, looking at the dough. The bowl was a bit melted, and hard to pull out, but the dough looked tasty! Buns went back to the fridge. Grabbing a can of whipped cream, shook it hard, and let it spill onto the cake... thing.

He set the can down, looking at his cake in awe. It didn’t look like one, no, but it was a cake! He grabbed the spoon from before and took a small bite.
