the blue octopus (Octopus cyanea) is known to collaborate with fish to hunt prey. when the fish don't contribute enough or try to steal food, the octopus will sometimes "punch" them by hitting them with a tentacle. sometimes the octopus will punch fish for no obvious reason, implying these hunting groups may have complex dynamics and social interactions we don't fully understand.
