cometflies current board bounty

"Do you hear that?" Lucas whispered to his husband and daughter, his little plush bunny ears twitching as he heard a faint ringing noise. They were on a little picnic, ableit, in the late evening, since Yuppi didn't exactly quite enjoy the summer sun (he has ice hooves and antlers after all!)

Yuppi put his hooves to his ear, and tried to hear for anything, and Ruby looked to Yuppi, just to mimic her papa's behavior.
"Nope. Nothing... Why?" Yuppi looked to his husband in confusion. Ruby shook her little head as well in response.

"I could have swore I hear some sort of ringing..." Lucas muttered, choosing to stand up from his spot on the picnic blanket to go look for the source of the noise. Ruby out of curiousity, followed after her father, wanting to figure out what was going on! Yuppi, despite his usual inertia, decided to follow along as well.

Lucas continued to hop towards the source of the noise, until lo and behold, he found himself infront of a swarm of cometflies, seemingly munching on the remains of a recent comet shower. He then proceeded to start trying to pry fallen stars away from a cometfly, causing it to try and attack him, upset about its meal being stolen. However, Lucas with his tentacity was strong enough to just bat it away like a regular housefly.

Ruby, eyes sparkled as she admired the little cometflies munching away. Even opting to pick one up (it squirming in her little paws), and showing it off to her papa. "Can we keep one as a pet? Pleaaase?"

Yuppi sighed and laughed as he watched the little guy try to squirm out of his little girl's grasp.
"I don't know...I guess we'll see. I think the animals we have at home are more than enough though."
